WHY recorded a cover of a traditional Christmas carol “I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day” (written in 1800’s by Henry Longfellow)
“A very old, somewhat sobering Christmas carol with the tension of wavering hope and faith questioned in light of a world that is not
always that peaceful or hopeful.”
WHY singer Brian Cook commented yesterday on the late release.
“We recorded it years ago but never officially released it until now. The original piece is rather dark for a Christmas song and we tried to brighten it up. With all that’s be happening in the World, terror attacks, fear and division, seems like the right time to release it.”
The song was made available for purchase yesterday on CDBABY: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/why7
